The Annual Flaxton Memorial Hall meeting was held Tuesday, August 11, 2026, 7 PM,

Members of the Burke County community and the Council of Restoration and Preservation of the Hall met to determine projects for the 2026-27 year.

Highlights included grant writing proposals to continue replacement of the windows and planning for the 100th Anniversary of the Hall in 2031..Join us in the planning on the FlaxtonNDCommunity Facebook sight.

The Burke County and White Earth Valley Historical Society with the support of the North Dakota Historical Society published what has now become a rare find for heritage seekers, Pioneers and Progress, Volume I in 1971-72. The Flaxton Community Club wishes to begin the preservation of this historic text on our website. We will continue to publish more of the book as we can until all 1287 pages has been archived. Thank you for your interest!
